About
FONI was registered as an NGO under the NGO Coordination Act of 1992 in 1997 . We are based in Isiolo County whose population is quite metropolitan including the majority Borana, Meru, Samburu, Turkana, and other minority people from all over Kenya. Our areas of operation include the entire Upper Eastern i.e. Isiolo, Marsabit and Moyale and all the other districts that have been hived off these three. Since its inception, FONI has run various programs including:
