Booming Business For Nyeri
It was booming business for hotels in Nyeri Town during a five-day Civil Society Week conference which was held at Green Hills Hotel.
All hotels were fully booked as over 300 delegates attended the just concluded forum.
Matatu operators were also offered jobs to transport the delegates to the respective hotels from Green Hills Hotel.
Other delegates who were visiting Nyeri Town for the first time enjoyed the town which is sandwiched between Mt Kenya National Park to the east and the Aberdare National Park to the west. Some delegates opted to remain behind to enjoy the tourists attraction sites including the graves of Scout Movement Founder, Lord Baden Powell and his wife Olave which are situated in the town. All started well and ended well.
This year’s theme was ‘Uchaguzi 2012, Je Tuko Tayari?”
